makronisiMakronisi is a long island with huge impressive rocks. They are sand coloured, worked in time by nature and looking like walls made out of bricks. The place where we stop the boat is close to a cave looped over in walls like arches from a church.

This is already amazingly beautiful, but the best part is behind the rocks: the hidden green/ blue, almost perfectly cut out roundish lagoon. It’s not easy to reach, the easiest way is to swim around the corner behind the cave. We can show you the way.

Very good swimmers can swim through an underwater cave. It’s about 2 meters deep and 3 meters long. (just so you know). With a deep breath and swimming experience you can make it! Around the lagoon is a walkable rock part with beautiful – almost handmade looking – colored rocks.
